Ern is planting a church multiplication movement in central Virginia. By concentrating on disciple-making and rising up leaders in the harvest field, the growing network of fellowships reach those with the Gospel who avoid the traditional church setting. The church goes to them rather than they go to church. The fellowships model church life as exhibited in the New Testament. Ern has a work place ministry among the employees of a Wal-Mart in Fredericksburg. It’s a diverse work force where he concentrates on the younger generations that are skeptical of Christian religion, yet have a deep spiritual hunger for a meaningful life. Many of his co-workers come from broken families, deal with addictions, have physical and/or mental challenges, and acute financial needs.
Prayer Needs
Please pray for protection from spiritual attack on Ern's wife Sharon’s health and for their relationship to be as God desires it. Also, pray for the breakdown of strongholds in the Wal-Mart workplace. And pray that the ministry can raise up leaders who can oversee the establishment of a growing network of fellowships that advance the Gospel through relationships and establish church life as exhibited in the New Testament.
